Taylor Swift To Make Her Big Movie Debut

The 11-time Grammy winner will make her big-screen debut in the anticipated period film, but details about her role are still being kept under wraps.

The film boasts of a major star cast with the likes of Oscar-winner Rami Malek, Malcolm and Marie actor John David Washington, The Queen's Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy and Suicide Squad veteran Margot Robbie.

The film is backed by 20th Century Studios and New Regency, and is Russell's first film in seven years, since Joy, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper.

Taylor Swift also starred in two documentaries which were released in 2020. The first is a Netflix featurette focusing on her life as Miss Americana, and the second is titled Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions, which the singer has directed and produced.
