The California-based company will try to deviate from the competition by allowing users to curate and recommend songs in real time. It also offers playlists put together by music publications and radio stations, like Rolling Stone and New York radio station Hot 97. Beats Music will also include customized features including “Just for You,” which suggests albums and playlists based on the user’s listening habits, time of day, and their activity at least four times a day.

AT&T will add Beats Music to their monthly plans for $9.99 a month, and $14.99 a month for family plans. Target will also be in the mix, providing a 30-day free trial to customers who purchase anything from the store’s electronic department and putting free trial vouchers in Beats Electronics’ products.
